In the combustion industry, O2 regulation has been used for many years to save energy. However, the measurement parameters used are not always reliable and self-controlled (parasitic air). The use of the LAMTEC KS1D combi probe allows the measurement of unburned gases (CO and H2) giving an indication of the combustion quality. O2 measurement is used for self-control and for visualization.
The LAMTEC digital cam automatically optimizes the fuel/air behavior with CO regulation up to the limit of complete and incomplete combustion. The advantages of O2, CO regulation are:
- Short adjustment time
- Interference compensation
- Self-monitoring system
- Combined measurement of O2 and CO/H22 et CO/H2
- Measured directly in the flue gases
- Use: <1200 °C
- Independent of interfering air (COe)e)
- Permissible exhaust gas temperature at the probe head: 300 °C for device variants with SIL certification (SIL1, SIL2)
- Exhaust zone
The exhaust gas systems of stationary burners have a significant impact on combustion. In addition, a change in fuel quality poses an additional risk to the system.
To enable an optimized combustion technique and the permanent increase in efficiency as well as the minimization of COe gases, LAMTEC offers 2 types of probes:
- the Combi Zirconium KS1D probe) which allows instantaneous and in situ measurement of the oxygen level (O2) and oxidized exhaust gases (CO/H2) by the ZrO2 probe for gas and fuel oil combustion.2) et les gaz d’échappement oxydés (CO/H2) par la sonde ZrO2 pour combustion au gaz et fioul.
- The CarboSen Coe probe offered by LAMTEC is an economical solution and particularly suitable for domestic burners.
